I was thinking about all my friends who love it when I post flowers colored in shades of purple when I selected my Stampin’ Blends Color Combo for this vertical slimline card featuring the new Flowers Fair stamp. Instead of using the floral image on a standard size card front, I stamped it 3 times on Basic White cardstock strips to make a vertical slimline card with 3 layers (dimensions below).
Reminder: Stampin’ Up! suggests using Basic White cardstock and a Memento Black ink pad for stamping when you are coloring with Stampin’ Blends markers.
Vertical Slimline Card Dimensions
- Petunia Pop card base: 7-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score at 3-3/4″ and fold in 1/2.
- Cut 3 basic white cardstock pieces: 3-1/2″ x 8-1/4″ to stamp, color and layer on the front.
- Use a business size envelope (#10)

Stamp the Flowers Fair image 3x as shown above, color all 3, and trim above the flowers on the 2 smaller pieces. Layer them together with Stampin’ Dimensionals or Foam Adhesive Sheets.

Isn’t this so cool? It really looks like a beautiful garden of purple posies when you put the 3 layers together with Foam Adhesive Sheets or Stampin’ Dimensionals.

These are gorgeous slimlines! You’ve shown such a creative way to use a big stamp like this, as well as shown how different the same design can look with different color schemes. I always look for ways to “stretch” the different ways a big stamp can be used. So creative, Patty, as always! You’ve inspired me!
