As part of my weekly YouTube card making video on Friday, I shared both the Begonia Belle stamp set and this new Sweetly Sentimental stamp set. Sweetly Sentimental is part of a Stampin’ Up! Hot Foil bundle but you don’t need to use hot foil with this stamp set… it’s simply stamped with the 2 step stamping method!
This Sweetly Sentimental card version below features a background of the Velvet Meadow flocked DSP, 2 die cut layers from the Beautifully Celebrated dies, and a sweet linen thread bow tucked below the foiled greeting. Find all of these supplies available for sale in my online Stampin’ Up! store – product photo links available at the bottom of this post.

Below: I used a die from the Flourish & Frames dies to die cut the center of my finished stamped panel. I drew around the edge of the die cut with my Basic Black Stampin’ Blends marker, then popped up the die cut on Foam Adhesive Sheets! The recessed opening around the popped-up piece creates a subtle shadow or “eclipse” effect.

If you are interested in the hot foil greetings, you can buy the Sweetly Sentimental Bundle. You’ll be able to hot foil them in any color foil or cardstock you wish!

Isn’t that foiled greeting a sweet touch on this card? It’s gold foil on Light Flirty Flamingo two tone cardstock.

I was also playing with stamping on colored carstock.. just to see what it looks like.. it’s a totally different look than stamping on white.

Below: I also experimented with stamping the rose around the perimeter of the cardstock instead of a focal point in the center.
