Spring & Easter Flip Flap Cards Video

I love using Flip Flaps on Cards!
Thank you for joining me on my weekly live crafting video yesterday!! A year ago I introduced you to the idea of creating a Flip Flap card (here) and yesterday we used this fun card making idea featuring Memories & More cards for a spring birthday idea and the Easter Basket Bundle for a fun Easter card version!

As you open up a Flip Flap card, you really see the magic and it’s sure to bring a smile to the recipient!!
I used the Days Like This Memories & More card pack to create this spring birthday flip flap card.

Easter Flip Flap Card
Use the same idea and switch up the papercrafting supplies, create this card for any occasion! I used the Easter Basket Bundle, Easter Joy paper, Easter Time Mix & Match Ephemera and the Softest Spring puffy stickers to make an adorable Easter card version!

Best Tip!
My best tip about making these 4×6 Flip Flap cards is to use the Stampin’ Up! Basic White Assorted Memories & More cards & envelopes – the larger size which is 4-1/4″ x 6-1/4″ is perfect for the base, and you’ll have your matching envelope, too! Be sure to watch the video for all my tips! I included the replay at the bottom of this post.

Flip Flaps are popular with scrapbookers to add extra photos to a page (see this post), but I love using them on cards! Stampin’ Up! carries several sizes. Today’s cards feature 3×3, 3×4 and 4×6 Flip Flaps. (click the product images at the bottom of this post to purchase yours).

Organizing my New Stampin’ Up! sets
I truly enjoy organizing my crafting supplies.. maybe as much as creating with them!!
When Stampin’ Up! introduced a new packaging system for stamp sets and dies last fall, I wasn’t sure if I would like it, if I would keep my stamps and dies stored in them, where I would put them, how I would organize them, etc.
Now that we’ve been working with the new packaging for a few months, I wanted to update you on what’s working FOR ME! If you have found solutions that work better for you, please continue to use your system.
Organizing and Storing my sets & dies
The new Stampin’ Up! packaging is taller and thinner than the CD/DVD case system, and required something different for me than storing them on my shelves. I found the Sorbus Medium Clear Plastic Bins and the JollyPack Clear Plastic bins to be my favorites.
The last piece of the puzzle for me was dividers. Up until now, I really didn’t have enough sets or dies in the new plastic envelopes to need dividers, but as I organized my craft room last weekend, I decided it was time to create categories and get organized!
I purchased the Henoyso 15 Piece Comic Book Dividers with tabs for my storage bins and love them! I did need to trim about 1″ off the side and bottom (approx.) to allow them to fit in the storage bins. (Measure your bins to decide what size would work for your dividers). I use my Brother P-Touch labeler to label them using categories that work for me. The Niimbot label maker is also a really great INEXPENSIVE labeling solution.
NOTE ADDED 10pm PT 1-28-26: The smaller packs of 15, 30 and 50 dividers seem to be temporarily sold out.. you all loved these!! I hope that company will restock the smaller packs. Larger packs are available with that link – maybe you can split them with friends.

ADDED INFO: per a viewer question, you may want to know.. I have 43 sets/die packages in this JollyPack bin. Be sure to check out the options I have linked above, and the sizes in the description to determine which size works for you. Also watch the video linked above for more sizing info.
Categories so far: Greetings, Valentines, Miscellaneous, Shapes, Spring/Easter, Animals, Florals, Summer and Birthday. As we get in to summer and fall I’ll add those then add Christmas.
As I continue to use and organize my supplies, I’ll keep you updated on any new finds!!
Thank you for visiting me today and I hope some of these tips help you!
