Luv 2 Stamp Group fun!
I held an event for my Luv 2 Stamp Group direct recruits and Power Team on Saturday and we had a blast!! I will feature a few projects here and more in upcoming posts.
We stamped and embossed with Versamark and Clear Embossing Powder onto empty Little Reminders Tins and they look TOTALLY COOL in person!!! Hope you can see the detail in these photos… this is a MUST try! My friend had one of these on the Stampin’ Up! cruise and I knew right away I’d need to try this!!
We also decorated these fun giant paperclip bookmarks using our designer papers and the small flower from the Office Accoutrements set. We put a Metal Edge Tag on the front and back and put Sticky Strip and Stampin’ Dimensionals in between the 2 tags to hold them securely to the big clip! Fun!!
Here was a fun card we all got to make that day, designed by Sue McAleavey. The pink and brown combo is so hot right now… just like the doodling set: Doodle This.
Stay tuned for more projects another day!

Pretty Flowers!
One of my new Asiatic Lillies was calling to me… "Take my picture, take my picture.. me, me .. over here!" … so I had to go snap a quick photo.
So THEN, my Honey Perfume rose says, "Hey wait!! I need a photo, too!!" So…………. there you have it… 2 beauties from the garden today! (and if you are looking for a SUPER wonderful smelling rose… THIS is it!!)
Mother’s Day Garden
As promised, here is an update on the progress made in the garden yesterday, on Mother’s Day! First.. I wouldn’t be a mom without my darling son.. here he is.. taller than I am and I’m wearing heels!!
Here are 2 of the new Alstromeria plants I got yesterday.. I got 5 total, in all different, gorgeous colors!!
These are my 2 new roses.. I decided to try them in pots. They are both beauties!! George Burns and Peace. Since they are on the deck, I can see them from my office window! yeah!
So here are the results of what we did yesterday.. we spent about 5 hours digging out grass and making a new planter. My husband edged it with used brick to match the walkway, and we dug and dug and dug in that hard clay "soil", then added "good soil" and planted 5 Asltromeria, 1 Martha Washington Geranium and 2 Asiatic Lilies. Yeah! I can see it all from my office window.. yippee!! I’m SO happy! What a great Mother’s Day gift to have my family help me plant new flowers!
See, I told you it wasn’t easy digging in this earth we have in the back yard.. pictured here is the variety of tools needed just to excavate the grass and till in some "good" soil and dig holes for these new plants!
OK, so I think you are updated on the "Mother’s Day Garden".
Stamping photos will follow later today! Have a great day!
