Decor Elements Blocks from Stampin’ Up!

Peter blocks
I got this really cool idea from Melissa B. in my downline… cover the Stampin' Up! Decor Elements blocks with photos!!!!  It becomes a REALLY COOL PUZZLE!!!

This is for my dear brother – {{you know… one who has everything… so you have to come up with creative ideas… ya, that one…}}  so I took HIS photos and printed them at home, cut them into 3×3 squares and applied them to our Decor Elements blocks (holiday mini catalog, pg 30) using the Stampin' Up! Glue Sticks.  Voila… hopefully a very unique gift that he'll enjoy displaying in his home. (I used my Epson R1900 wide format printer).

There are 6 different scenes.. I think he'll enjoy discovering them all and displaying his gift.

ORDERING INFO for the blocks – you'll need 3 sets if you want to make this 9 block puzzle:

  2. OMGoodness! Wish I’d known about this a week ago for my world-travellin’ sister. I’m totally math-challenged. How many photos did you print?
    Thanks for sharing, Patty!

  4. Patty,
This is a great and very creative idea! These would be really fun for kids. You could put family pictures on them. Great way to have them learn people’s names as they put together the puzzles. I live two states away from my nieces and only see them a few times a year. This would be a nice way for them to revisit our memories together.
