Welcome and thank you for visiting my new blog! I am excited to share my stamping ideas with you as well as give you a peek into my flower garden! Both stamping and gardening make me VERY happy, and I am very eager to share both of them with you! Hmmm.. maybe that’s why I use flower stamps in most of my projects!?
So… how about a stamping sample to start with…
BABY WIPE RESIST: this was an idea I saw Brent Steele demo on the recent Stampin’ Up! cruise. After embossing the images with Versamark and clear powder, I used a baby wipe, swirled it on the ink pad (Old Olive was used here) and then applied the color over the embossed images. The embossed images resist the ink. The dampness of the baby wipe helps to "flow" the ink evenly over your cardstock (Whisper White). I added a Hodgepodge Hardware "S" clip with the wide white organdy ribbon pulled through it and tied in a knot as an accent. We used this technique in my 6×6 Technique Book class earlier this week and everyone loved it.
<< Here is the 6×6 Technique book version of the card above.
Cardstock: Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink: Apricol Appeal, Pumpkin Pie, Versamark
Other: clear embossing powder, Hodgepodge Hardware, White Organdy, heat tool, baby wipes

Whoohoo! I’m going to be coming here often! Cool technique – thank you!
Patty – thanks so much for sharing! Woohoo! Roses and SUp! what more could you ask for! The story about the wheel was so neat – just in time for my journaling around those pictures taken on cruise!
You’re in my favorites now!!!
Patty I loved you stampin spot before but I will come here even more. You are a great inspiration to all of us. Thank you for your time and talent.
