Cutie Pie Paper & and another Custom Spectrum Pad

I just love how my previous custom Spectrum pad turned out, so I decided I wanted to make one to go with the Cutie Pie Papers!  Since they are my FAVORITE Stampin’ Up! Designer papers, and I use them A LOT, I thought I needed a custom Spectrum pad to go with that color scheme… so… here’s what I did!

I chose the following color combo by coloring with markers on white cardstock first –

Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal, Rose Red, Bashful Blue, Apricot Appeal

Dsc07475

(I only use the markers to see if I like that combo before inking with the reinkers)

and then I inked the empty Spectrum Pad like this:

Dsc07477

(not easy taking a photo with your left hand and inking with the right!)

THEN.. when I inked up one of my favorite stamps, I got combos like this:

Dsc07479

and it’s tons quicker than doing that with markers!!

So… here are a few of the goodies I made with my newly inked custom Spectrum pad:

So.. have you made one yet?  It’s tons ‘o fun!!

  2. Hi Patty! On the top card laying on the markers…what is the flower, or what set is it from? The one that is put on the scallop punch. I can’t seem to figure it out.
    Thanks!

  3. What a terrific idea, Patty! I guess you will have to stock up on “Cutie Pie” papers, so you never run out and will always have someto use with your new ‘custom’ stamp pad.

  6. Patty,
I love that you share these combo’s with us. I bought an un-inked pad so that I could copy your “wanted” color combo. Now I will buy another to copy this one too!
    Thanks!
