Yep, I'm an American Idol fan.. and I'm SOOOO stoked that David Cook won! He was my favorite singer and performer and I think he has a great personality too!
For the past couple of months people have been stopping us saying how much our son looks like David Cook… judge for yourself….

I was so happy David Cook won! AND he does look like your son! (note, HE looks like your son, not the other way around! hee hee!)
WOW! Seriously! He really does resemble him! I also LOVE David Cook! I wasn’t crazy about him in the beginning, but as the season went on I have grown to really, really like him. I’m so happy he won!!! Have a great day!

Oh my GOSH! He REALLY does! That is too funny…once you put the pictures up side by side, I noticed it! I am a big David A fan, but like David C a lot, too…so I’m happy for him. He really is more mature, I think. David A will go far, I’m sure!

WOO HOO for David C!! And your son is a complete match for him. As Cindy said, all he would have to do is dye his hair. He should just to see what happens… 🙂 Might get him a ton of girls flocking the house… woo hoo!! I bet you already do though.

OMG Patty, it is so funny you posted this. A while back when you had posted pics of the cruise that was the first thing I thought of when I saw your son’s picture. It is an incredible resemblance. I hope your son can have some fun with his new found fame.

I do think they look very similar but your son is a lot better looking. I was glad Cook won too because, personally, I couldn’t stand to hear the other kid sing. I just put the tivo on pause and fast forwarded thru his singing.
Wow, they do look alike! So, I have a funny story about the finale last night, well, it was not funny when it happened. We Tivo’d it and because it ran over, we didn’t get the winner. It was cruel. Ryan was saying the winnner and all we heard was “American Idol of 2008 is David……” Urg! I went crazy. I had to go on Youtube to find a video. Not a great copy but at least I got to see the moment! I was SO pissed at Fox. I guess that teaches me, for that show, I should always set it to record 10 minutes over.

I don’t watch American Idol, but I think I heard on the news that the winner was from Kansas? He and your son do have a resemblance, but I think your son is much cuter! I just love his red hair and mischievious grin 😉

Hi Patty- me too (David Cook fan!). I honestly wouldn’t have seen the resemblence, until you put those pictures side-by-side. In the top picture they *really* look alike!
I loved David A, too, so would have been happy no matter who won, but I think that with David A being younger, he has plenty of time to build his career. They were both awesome 🙂
Oh yes!!! Now I see why David C (my favorite!) looked familiar! I tune in to your blog more than I tune into American Idol. Uncanny resemblance there. I think your son has a better hair style though.
