Stampin' Up! does everything in such a grand and creative way… We did not know where we were headed for our Founder's Circle farewell dinner on Sat. night, but we knew it would be wonderful! We piled into 3 buses from the Marriott and drove about 20 minutes to a country club (but remember.. we are in the dessert… think red rocks and cactus)… and Stampin' Up! had outdone themselves with an outdoor theater set up for us to watch a movie under the stars!!!! We also had pizza, salad, tons of candy snacks, popcorn and soda!!
You can see the big screen set up in the center of the photo and the rows of chairs:
beautiful club house.. I think I want our backyard to look like this… LOL
This is where we took a group photo:
and here is an Advisory Board Group photo (me on the left):
After the group photos we went to the theater area and found that Stampin' Up! had given us each a cozy pink blanket as a gift!!
Here was Ruth's reaction upon seeing the blankets!
I sat with Missy, Rebecca and Ruth:
I'd never had shrimp alfredo pizza before.. YUMMMMMY!
OH ya.. the movie was "No Reservations"… it was a really fun movie to watch with girlfriends!
As you read this.. I'll be having Advisory Board meetings at Stampin' Up! in Riverton, UT. When I get home, I'll share more from the trip and our wonderful Holiday Swaps that we got at the Retreat.
have a great stampin' day!
Wow. Would you look at that country club?! The scenery is breathtaking! I can see why you would want such a view in your background… Lol!
Definitely scrapbook-worthy pictures… *Wink*
Have fun at the Advisory Board meeting!

You failed to mention that that is where they filmed High School Musical 2. Lucky you, you were on the same grass as the hottie Zac Efron.
WOW SU really knows how to treat their creative, talented and inspiring staff. I know you have the Advisory Board meeting, but it sounds like it has to be a FUN meeting. Glad you are having a blast. Hope you don’t have to pay extra money for all the extra luggage you had to buy to take all the goodies on the plane. (teehee)
I noticed that this is the country club where they filmed High School Musical 2–I came to the comments to see if anyone else notice. Really, really beautiful! I’ve been having fun seeing your updates –sounds like a great time!
If you’re home already when you read this…welcome home !! I’m so glad that you’re not getting any more wonderful gifts anymore…ummmm….I mean….I’m so glad that you had a great time and that you’re home safe and sound :)…hehehehehe! That was just jealousy talking ! 🙂
Patty:
Thanks so much for sharing all this fun stuff with us!! I think this is as close to “Founder’s Circle” as I will ever get. :>
Hey, you’ve also been “tagged”. I know you’re a busy lady, but if you’re up to playing, you can go to my blog for “the rules.”

Patty,
Your Founders Circle Retreat posts have been absolutely wonderful to read and ogle over!! Thank you for taking time during your trip to post about the fun happenings (and awesome goodies!) and let all of us live vicariously through you for the past week! So happy for you! (and o.k., jealous too hehe!!)
Thank you so much for sharing. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your Founders Circle Retreat posts. You rock!
Yeah..I was thinking the same thing..it looks like where they shot High School Musical 2 at. Cool. Lucky you for all the neat things you get to do. I wish I could. And that blanket looked so cozy!
I have really enjoyed your pictures and journaling from Founder’s Circle. What a wonderful recognition of very hard-working, dedicated demonstrators. You’re an inspiration.
