I'm off to our quarterly Luv 2 Stamp Group meeting today.. so next week I'll have LOTS to share with you from the fabulous presentations today!! I'm sooooooooo excited!! You will WANT to check back here next week… you are in for a HUGE treat!
THANK YOU all for your great suggestions about how to celebrate 1,000,000 blog hits!! Thanks to everyone who suggested celebrating with my supportive family.. I think that's a GREAT idea! I'll be offering some blog candy next week – overwhelmingly you all wanted some Patty Bennett artwork or 3-D projects… I'll work on that!! 🙂
Garden update.. after being away from my garden for over a week, I was thrilled to see all the new roses that bloomed while I was gone.. here are a few..
The roses above and below are probably "Double Delight", but I am not sure. I stupidly took the tag off when I bought it 9 years ago!
The rose below is "Diana Princess of Wales".
Have a FABULOUS day!
Patty,
I LOVE roses, but they don’t grow well here. Yours are beautiful! When I lived in Ogden, UT I had Peace rose blooms 9 inches across! They were my favorite! I would love to come take a walk in your garden!
Such beautiful flowers. I wish I could grow them!! Tried and they died. Looks, though, like you have the magic touch!!
I would love to have a garden that grew beautiful flowers like yours. I, unfortunately, do not have a green thumb. I can, however, grow really BIG weeds!
Your roses are stunning. I’m looking forward to seeing your projects next week. Have fun!
Your roses are so pretty!!!! I really love your blog, I just found it and it is one of my favorites!!
Thanks for all the inspiration
God bless
Giovana
Patty, your garden and bouquets are amazing!
Thanks for sharing your photos with us.
Cathy
Wow, those are gorgeous!!
I wish I could win some of your talented green thumb for my roses!:) Mine just do not look that good! Oh well…maybe I will be luckier with your blog candy!:)
Your roses are beautiful! I sorely miss have any in my new garden maybe in a couple of years.
I too think those roses are Double Delight. I used to ‘study’ the Jackson & Perkins catalog! Unfortunately the deer, moles, Japanese beetles, chipmunks, rabbits, and groundhog have devoured my gardens so I have given up 🙁 I love seeing your fabulous roses…keep them coming!
Patty, your flowers are absolutely gorgeous. The roses Beth Ann spoke of are Double Delights! Do you have any David Austin Roses? If not do yourself a favor you will never regret, get some. They are full like a peony, and the fragrance is divine. Do you have any maiden hair fern, or baby tears in your flower beds? Lived in CA. most of my life, moved to Missouri in 95′ and have missed these and many other things I can’t grow here. Thanks for sharing one of your obvious joys with us.
