Birthday Book for Sharon

I am really happy with the way this little birthday book came out for my friend Sharon. I used the Big Shot Scallop die, cut off a few of the scallops to have a "flat area" to put into my Bind It All, and I decorated it with Bella Rose DSP.  I added Pink Pirouette "scallop die pages" inside.  Sharon always makes me such wonderful, fun projects, I wanted to make her something really special.  Enjoy!

EDITED TO ADD:  More info on the book…  I cut Pink Pirouette cardstock and the thin white chipboard sheets that come in the back of the packs of Stampin' Up! Designer Paper with the largest Scallop die in the Big Shot sales brochure, and for the cover I adhered the cardstock to each side of the thin cardboard.  The inner pages are just cardstock.

Have a super fabulous Sunday!

  1. It always amazes me how much you manage to get done! Congrats on the book, it looks great! (And I got me one of those BIA machine a couple of weeks ago – so far, I think it was a great buy!)

  2. That’s so cute and on trend. I’ve been wanting to do this with the Top Note die! I think a pocket using 1/2 of the scallop die would be cool to put a gift card or a photo or a journaling card! Oh the ideas!
