I was just noticing that the photo I have had set as the wallpaper on my computer screen is nearly identical to the gorgeous Manhattan Die flowers from Stampin' Up!
This is one of my favorite rosebushes – I took the photo last summer in my garden:
Doesn't it resemble our Impressions die?
Have a Blessed Easter!
Patty
Maybe you posted that picture somewhere and the designers loved it so much they came up with our stamp. So very beautiful

Happy Easter
I LOVE when you post your flower pictures. I love flowers and I also love taking photos of them. The picture is gorgeous!!!
Patty, do you happen to know the name of your rose? It’s a gorgeous color! I’m such a nut…I moved from my old home over 15 years ago, and I still miss my Mr. Lincoln rose bush…being so crazy about roses, it’s no wonder this Manhattan folder is tops on my list at the moment!
A blessed Easter to you, too! … Patricia
Ok, this has to be SU!’s inspiration for the Manhattan Flower embossing folder!! There’s just no way this is a coincidence!! Unbelieveable how similar they are!! Your roses are absolutely beautifl Patty. Lucky you!!
Happy Easter Hugs to you!
This is so beautiful. I received roses from a dinner guest that had this same graduating color. I tried to duplicate it in my stamping, but wasn’t successful. I’m not the greatest with watercolor crayons or pencils. Any suggestions?!
your garden flowers are gorgeous..as is your card! TFS and happy easter!
well, a STUNNER!! and probably one of the quickest cards i have ever made. i have been known to *labor* three hours over a card, just to get it perfect. sigh. anyway, a question: i used the vellum c/s and still had a slight problem with the die nearly cutting through the c/s in several places. did you have this problem? i sort of ignored it and just treated the c/s very gently once i discovered the *cuts* – i just wanted to know if this is normal. or if there is a better way to handle the die/cardstock when you put it through the big shot. thanks for any insight you care to share on this …
my hubby came home with a dozen roses tonight (just for me) that look just like yours from last summer! they smell so good!!! mmmmmmm (ps: i am stamping sandy’s mom :))
Unbelievable!!! They are SO beautiful!!! And you are right, so similar to the Manhattan folder!!!
Thanks for sharing that fantastic photo with us! 😀
Oh, I am so glad you said this was a picture taken last summer! We are in the 40’s in Chicago. Roses are a long way off! Thanks for sharing all that you do from stamping to roses!!!
I just saw this and love it. Did you hand cut it or was it a die?
