  1. Patty, so beautiful. My daffodils, lilacs, and tulips are all coming up. My Mom always tried to make me a gardener with no luck. After she passed away we had to put her house up for sale; my husband, secretly dug up some of her flowers and transplanted them to our house. They are a beautiful memory of her every year. I often think she’s looking down laughing, as she got her way!!

  3. Patty – how fortunate you are to have such a lush garden! Here on the east coast we watch for spring to reveal itself slowly. My favorite it the forsythia – that gorgeous bright flash of yellow that is our harbinger of spring. Right now we are seeing the pear trees blossom (and fall to the ground like snow!) and some of the dogwoods are getting blossoms. Coming one at a time helps us appreciate each one in its’ own rite. 5. Patty these pics are beautiful and I am so happy to see pics of your roses back. I missed them. Up here in the NEPA we have some daffodils brave enough to face the cold but only a few. It is still miserable here and looks like my kids will have to wear there winter wear yet again for the annual easter egg hunt. How I wish I could move to a warmer climate. Thank you for sharing your beautiful flowers with us. Happy Easter! Stacy

  6. Ok Miss Patty…I normally love your blog, but this time you have gone too far. Showing us those gorgeous flowers in April when over here in Vermont we are getting snow flurries today!
Actually, I love the flower pictures and admire how beautiful your garden is nearly year round. We only have about 5 months of vegetable gardens and flowers here on the mountain in which we live. We do love our gardens, but the time we have them is way too short. (Hawaii is looking better and better since the trip last month!)
Anyway, thanks so much for sharing. I am seriously jealous. I did get some beautiful cut flowers from my hubby today so I will just have to look at those and pretend they are outside in our yard.

  7. Ahh patty…my garden is about 2 months behind this year. I was excited to think my huge Magnolia tree would bloom for Easter but it is still a few warm days away…but things are slowly opening so it’s all good.
Happy Easter…thanks for the lovely pictures!
