Technique Class sample Oct. 09 – #1

Last week I had another edition of the very popular 6×6 Technique Book Class series…. we've been doing this class since before Stampin' Up! even had 6×6 books… back then it was a 5×7 Technique Book class! :)

Each class features 4 new techniques on a 6×6 sheet, with a 6×6 instruction sheet to go in the 6×6 book.

Here is the 1st technique from last week's class:

DIRECT TO RUBBER with SPONGE DAUBERS

Direct to rubber medallion

Direct to Rubber

Create lovely blended colors with your bold stamp images.

Supplies:

· Bold image stamp

· Ink pads

· Sponge Daubers

· Cardstock

Directions:

  1. Daub sponge dauber numerous times into one ink pad, and apply to the rubber stamp. Do not completely cover the image.. leave about 1/3 uninked
  2. Repeat step 1 with 2 more colors – adding to the rubber until the image is completely covered with ink
  3. Stamp image onto cardstock.
