If all goes as planned.. we will be enjoying the Adventure of the Seas in the Caribbean as you read this.. I've got blog posts set up to post while we are gone…. I'm looking forward to sharing our cruise photos with you as soon as I return!
Continuing on with the samples from my Hugs & Kisses notes class last week.. here is the 3rd card we made:
This card idea was based on a card I received from Carrie Cudney at Stampin' Up! Thanks for the inspiration, Carrie !! 🙂
The flower center is really fun… it's a CLEAR BUTTON (item 105447, pg 181 in the Stampin' Up! catalog), over a 1" circle punched from So Saffron cardstock. I cut off the legs of the Real Red Epoxy Brad (item # 117270) with my Craft & Rubber Scissors and used a jumbo glue dot to adhere it to the clear button. Cute, huh?
The Kisses Note features a greeting from the stamp set "On a Pedestal" – it's my favorite greeting right now 🙂
Both the Real Red Fancy Flower punch and the Hugs note are stamped with the A to Z "a la carte" single stamp on pg 42 of the Occasions mini catalog in Going Gray.
And here is a fun tip…. the leaves are punched from the Extra Large Two-Step Bird punch… the leaves are the WINGS from that punch :) (item 117191, pg 11 of the Occasions Mini catalog).

cute cute card. I might have to case that if you don’t mind. I love the tip about the leaves too. Thanks for sharing that.
Congratulations ,you have been awarded the Sunshine Award! See my blog for more details.

What a happy little card. I really like the tip about the different colors that you can put behind the clear button, that is really neat, now you can have a button any color you want. How cool. Also love that the wings of the bird punch can be used as the leaves on the flower. I just love when something does double duty, it’s like getting two for the price of one. Love the Kraft background, I really do hope that the New Crumb Cake is the same as the Kraft that you have now, because I don’t know where I would be without my Kraft to rely on. I happen to have that A-Z Stamp, and love the way that you used it as a background, looks great. Wonderful job all around. You all look so wonderful in your Formal Attire. It must have been a wonderful time. Happy Cruising.
