Remember my obsession with making alcohol ink background cards over the summer? Well, I still haven’t shared all of the cards I made, but I love this one and wanted to share it with you!
I thought this card and color combo turned out so pretty, and then found that the Blue Gems looked great with this combo.. I hope you love it too!
The Stampin’ Blends colors I used on the vellum are listed below. If you haven’t done this Faux Alcohol Ink Background technique yet, I’ve included a link to the video tutorial below. All products are available in my online Stampin’ UP! store by clicking on the product photos at the bottom of this post.
The Penned Flowers die with Basic White cardstock really pops off this background! So easy! My favorite greeting set, Biggest Wish, is used for the birthday card greeting, stamped onto a Scalloped Contours die.

I am joying your cards and video’s. on the last blue card on the video of June 18th the last blue card what is the last blue blends did you use. You mentioned balm blue, shaded spruce, misty moon light but not the final color on the very last card. I am color challenged so I can’t tell the difference. Thanks Patty.
I believe Night of Navy was the last color.. I showed it in my blog post: https://pattystamps.com/2021/06/alcohol-ink-vellum-background-with-stampin-blends-and-wink-of-stella.html
Patti, you mention a video or post regarding how to use the adhesive sheets with dies for the artistic flower die.
