I know… call me chicken.. but I have not wanted to apply the Stampin' Up! Decor Elements to our walls… we have a ton of artwork in our home (all painted by my dad), so I've been using Decor Elements on "things", not walls.
For this 12×16 wall decor piece, I used the UPSY DAISIES DECOR ELEMENTS pieces in So Saffron and Rose Red. I layered the Saffron one over the Red one.
Then I used my STAMPIN' UP BIG SHOT with the SERIF ESSENTIALS ALPHABET DIE (#113464) and the Chocolate Decor Elements Vinyl Sheets (#11437) to cut out the alphabet letters to spell WELCOME.
Rather than putting this onto the wall, I put it on a 12×16 piece of Artist Board.. you can find this at most hobby or craft or art supply stores. This way I can move it around, take it to Luv 2 Stamp Group meetings, workshops, etc. It is VERY sturdy, it is NOT canvas on stretcher boards.. it's a nice hard surface PERFECT for decorating with Decor Elements pieces…. now… what pieces should I buy next..

I really like the Decor Elements on my walls. I have them in my kitchen, dining room, garage, and bathroom. The one in the bathroom is directly over my shower and I haven’t had a problem. I’ve also peeled them right off the wall and the window on our boat.
What a great idea. We have textured walls so hadn’t been able to use the larger pieces. Did you prep the board — paint or ???
This is such a neat idea and putting two colours together looks fantastic! I have been wanting to put up one of my decor elements for some time but I rent – now there’s a way to use it and be able to take it with me when we move!
