NEW Clearance Rack items, free stamp sets and more…

Don't miss the AMAZING SPECIALS from Stampin' Up! for October!

———————————–

Going across the bay bridge to San Francisco is something we don't do nearly often enough even though we are less than 25 miles to downtown…

but we always make a point to go on Columbus Day weekend to see the Blue Angels during Fleet Week!

Eric and Jason and I went for the day and Jason and I took about 400 photos in 90 minutes.. we both love photography, but getting great shots of fighter jets going 400mph to 700mph is not easy!

Enjoy these photos we took .. I enjoyed making 12×12 scrapbook pages with them using My Digital Studio.

Have you ever been standing right under a F/A-18 Fighter Jet when it goes SUPER SONIC and breaks the sound barrier????????? let me tell you.. it's one of the COOLEST things ever…

and to make it even cooler… Jason captured the Vapor Cone with my camera – see center photo above… you can read more about that HERE.. it is AMAZING to witness in person!

  2. Patty what awesome pictures! I love to watch planes, I use to live across the street of the back end of an airforce compound and what a thrill to be able to watch them train with those jets, and yes I have witnessed the super sonic sound breaker, unbelievabley awesome and seen the red/orange ball of fire tail streaking out the back end WOW! Miss those days. Mary L.

  3. Patty these are amazing! I’ve seen the Blue Angels once but it was when I was in 1st or 2nd grade back in the 1960’s and yet I’ve never forgotten that. You’ve done a wonderful job creating these pages with your awesome photos.
I’ve been delving into photography lately but only have a PointnShoot camera so can’t do a lot of fancy stuff. Sometime if you’d like check out my other blog. You can find a link for it on my stamping blog. Have a great week.

  6. Wow!! Great pages, and what an amazing photo Jason got of the vapor cone. I looked at the link, and holy halo cloud batman!! I had no idea they could do that so close to the ground as in that one photo. I love the Blue Angels, and really love that you got some photos of Fat Albert, their C-130. Got a kick out of the tug too. And wow, the tall ship on Hyde street pier. I used to work at the Elissa in Galveston, a tall ship very similar to that one, and got to sail on her twice. Love em!
