I've mentioned many times how much I love my Luv 2 Stamp Group… they are kind, caring, generous and amazing…

well, here is just one more wonderful thing they have done…

Cards for troops donation

at our last Luv 2 Stamp Group meeting we started collecting cards to send to the husband of one of our Luv 2 Stamp Group members stationed in Bagram, Afghanistan.

We collected over 235 cards which i packaged up and mailed off to him.  I know he and his camp will enjoy using these to send back home to loved ones!!

Thank you Luv 2 Stamp Group!!

  1. What a wonderful thing to do for our troops! I’ve been sending cards for many years and they appreciate them so much. It’s a great feeling, too, to know you are helping our troops even if it’s such a small thing as a card ~~ it really brightens their day. Another one of your very kind and generous projects, Patty !!

  2. This is a great idea Patty. When my nephew was overseas in several places…. several online friends helped me send cards to him. He said the guys would dig in the cards like they were gold looking for something to send to family and friends.
The Christmas he was there he had enough christmas cards to send all of thefamily and a lot of friends…..plus a lot of the other guys had christmas cards as well. It makes you feel good to know how thrilled they are with the cards.
You gals did good….thats alot of cards.
    Blessings….Joy Hannabass

  3. Thank you so much Patty! I’ll keep you posted on when Kelly (my hubby) recieves the package. I know the troops overseas really appreciate the chance to send notes home and I also know how special each child feels when they get letters from overseas. One thing which is often overlooked is that there are many female soldiers serving in war zones as well, and they really appreciate the adorable cards!
This is one more proof of how wonderful you are! May the Blessing flow back to you ten fold! Teri
