What a wonderful tribute to your grandfather and all service men and women. Thanks for sharing some of your family history with us.
Thanks for sharing your pictures. My father was in England during the War with the First Infantry Division. He met and married my mother there and they both came back to the US about a year after the war ended. Those must be regular eyeglasses your grandfather is wearing, because they’re exactly the same as in pictures of my father. Blessings to all who served, on the front and on the homefront.
This was beautiful.
