Even though the weather here in the San Francisco Bay Area doesn't know it.. Fall weather IS on the way… the weather here can't make up its mind!! One day it's 100 and the next it's 70.. and we still don't have rain.. but I know that fall weather is coming so I wanted to get ready with some pretty Vintage Leaves fall cards to share with you!
These pretty vintage leaves are really easy to stamp and color with Stampin' Sponges and Stampin' Up! ink pads.. you can see my tutorial below in this post! The 2 cards above feature the Brick Wall Embossing folder background, with Vintage Leaves images stamped over the embossed paper. The Brick Wall embossing folder is found on page 174 in the annual Stampin' Up! catalog (#138288) and it's 6"x6" in size, which allows you to emboss a card front in either direction, or, emboss something larger than a card! For these note cards, I used the 3-1/2"x5" Crumb Cake Note Cards & Envelopes on pg 149 in the annual catalog (#133766) and only embossed the front with the embossing folder in my Big Shot.
The 2 cards below feature a NEW 2015 Holiday catalog embossing folder called Woodland. You'll find it on pg 39 of the Holiday catalog.. AND you'll find me using it a lot this fall.. I LOVE it!! The possibilities are endless with this folder!
Did you see the pretty corrugated paper accent on each card? I love this new package of Stampin' Up! Corrugated paper – you get 2 sheets of white corrugated paper and 2 sheets of Kraft corrugated paper.. 4 total 12×12 sheets for only $7!! #138317 on pg 148 of the annual catalog.
Don't like to "fussy cut"? No worries.. all the leaves are die cut with the coordinating Leaflets framelit set!! yay!
OOh, and I LOVE this grateful die cut!! It is a part of the "Seasonal Frame Thinlits Die" set on pg 40 of the Holiday catalog.. another item really easy to miss! I applied it with the new Fine-Tip Glue pen.. another gem not to miss in the Holiday catalog!
Coloring and cutting these leaves is SOOO easy! I stamped a sheet of each size leaf onto Very Vanilla cardstock, then simply used a Stampin' Sponge to sponge random colors over each one! I die cut them with the matching Leaflets framelits! Wow! Quick and easy but a lot of Wow!
