I selected 2 of the prints from that stack and used them for my winter scene cards stamped with the trees from the Wonderland set. The vellum and stamp set are both on pg 23, or are available in my online store by clicking on any of the product photos at the bottom of this post.
I love the gold print on the vellum… such pretty patterns!! You'll find the vellum stack on pg 23 in the Stampin' Up! 2015 Holiday catalog, or here online.
I wanted some extra Gold Bling so I punched out some gold stars with the "Medium Star" punch and the beautiful Gold Foil Paper. Stampin' Dimensionals are the perfect touch to pop the star off the card!
These cards are pretty monochromatic in Island Indigo, but I love the touch of Gold!
TIP: I used Fast Fuse to adhere the vellum… I found that it did not show when I put the Fast Fuse on the White part of the card, and then I added some under the star. It turned out perfect! Watch my FAST FUSE TIPS VIDEO here.
You may have seen this photo below on Facebook.. I had to make 87 thank you cards to send to my dear, faithful customers after my million dollar milestone week, and I was getting VERY inky.. so I decided that rubber gloves were called for!
MASKING TECHNIQUE: I tore a "mask" using a Post-It note and stamped the trees over that and sponged some ink in the "sky". When I posted this on facebook several people asked for a video tutorial on this.. would you like me to make one? Leave me a comment if that would be helpful.

You can see below how each one turns out a little bit differently depending on how you tear the post-it note mask. I used each mask about 3x before it got too inky, then grabbed another one.
The PEACE sentiment is stamped in Island Indigo ink on Whisper White and punched out with the Word Window Punch.

Base card: Whisper White Note Cards #131527 (they are precut and prescored)
Blue Layer: Island Indigo, cut at 3-1/4" x 4-3/4"
White stamped/sponged layer: 3" x 4-1/2"

What a beautiful set of cards. Had you ever thought of using the silver vellum on some of them? I would love to see the difference between the gold and silver cards. I would also love to see a video of the making of this card. Your videos are something that I look forward to seeing because I always find something new/interesting/different way of doing in them. Love to see a video of this beautiful card. I check your blog everyday and have learned so much from you. Thank you for sharing your time and talent. I have been using a 1/4″ square of SU tear and tape in the four corners of my vellum. Before removing the white paper I rub my bone folder over the small square to burnish in the tape. It doesn’t show on the front of card and it lays flat.
I would also love a video on how you made these cards. I am kind of a visual learner and seeing it done along with directions is so great. I love your video’s. These cards look really beautiful and I am sure everyone that got one was very excited to receive it. Congratulation on your big milestone of over a million. I can only dream that someday I might make a milestone. Thank you for all that you share with the rest of us who aren’t as talented and gifted ad you!!!
I always appreciate your videos, but for this technique, the photo pretty much explains it. Card is gorgeous. I esp. like the simpler (dotted) vellum overlay ‘cuz it’s more subtle than the other patterns and doesn’t take away from the stamping and sponging work done on the rest of the card.
