Do you remember the cute Christmas Tree "Home for Christmas" Tri-fold cards I shared with you a couple weeks ago? Well, this Snowflake card is the one that inspired those cards. I made this card at my friend Susan's house in September. It features the BEAUTIFUL Flurry of Wishes stamp set and matching snowflake punch! (links available at the bottom of this post).
Tri-Fold Card HOW TO: SEE THE VIDEO in this post for instructions to make a tri-fold card.
I just love the gorgeous soft colors in this card: Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate. Each punched snowflake has a rhinestone in the center.. the larger ones are new from the Holiday catalog and are called Iced Rhinestones, and the smaller ones are the regular rhinestones from the large Stampin' Up! annual catalog.
Do you think I was a little bit excited to be stamping with Di Gibbs!? Eeek! I love her!
One thing that makes this card SO EASY is that 3 of the snowflakes in the stamp set just punch right out with Stampin' Up! punches.. um.. hello.. YES!!! Love that!
The Flower Medallion punch is shown on the left and the Snow Flurry punch is on the right.
The white cardstock background is embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder.. isn't that just the perfect touch for this card!? I think so!!
What do you think… pretty pretty pretty.. right!? Thank you Susan for this amazing idea! (see the video tutorial for the tri-fold card here, with tips for making this card at the end of the video).
NOTE: you can purchase the Flurry of Wishes stamp set and matching punch separately, or, save 15% by purchasing them in the bundle shown below.

all of the cards you share on your blog are nice, while others are great……but this one takes the cake!!
It’s stunning w/this color combo; you look over the moon excited in your picture!!! THX. for sharing.
I love the colors of this card, and that set is one of my favorites out of the holiday catalog. Love how excited you look in your picture with Diana! Thanks for sharing – it’s been fun to see all the different variations of the tri-fold card, the same basic structure looks so different depending on how you choose to dress it up.
Hi Patty,
Loved the first tri-fold cards you made and shared with us. This one with the snowflakes is just so beautiful. Snowflakes are a favorite of mine, and this is just the type of card I would love to make.
Just beautiful, Patty. Thank you for sharing.
Happy weekend to you.
