Do you have left over double sided Designer Paper? If so, this is a great project to use some up!
In September, Vinnie showed me this idea at our Luv 2 Stamp Group stamping day, and I thought I would remember how to make it.. but I had to look at the instructions.. I found the instructions HERE on Splitcoast.
This is what it looks like as it's opening up:
and here is what the card looks like when it's open:
You can see both patterns of paper on these delightful folded cards! You can add the triangles in 3 different ways to the bottom of the side panels.. so much fun to play with these and discover different results!
I used the Thanks greeting from the October My Paper Pumpkin set.. don't you love the amazing stamp sets that come with the Paper Pumpkin kits each month? Not yet a subscriber? Click here and try it out!
I decorated the card fronts with a doily, a metallic foily doily and some stamping and printed paper.. lots of ways to add something pretty to the front! I also put a piece of Whisper White cardstock inside because it would be too hard to write on the patterned paper… well, not hard to write on it, but hard to read it! 🙂
Try it with ANY double sided paper you have .. I just wanted to use up some fall paper before Thanksgiving!
