Happy New Year!! Can you believe it's 2016!? Wow!
I love to carry a handy dandy notepad in my car.. I am always thinking of something to jot down while I'm out and about. How perfect is this notepad case for 2016? I used the Large Numbers Framelits dies (NEW from Stampin' UP!) – they are on page 10 of the upcoming 2016 Occasions Catalog, to decorate the front cover of a clear stamp case!
I used some of the new Sale a Bration "Wildflower Fields" Designer Paper for my little notepad holder project! You can select this pretty paper as one of your free Sale a Bration items starting on Jan. 5, 2016 when you purchase $50 or more in my online store! Need a catalog to see the 11 FREE items available? Let me know! I'm happy to mail them to you!
I die cut the 2016 numbers from the Wildflowers designer paper and also wrapped a scrap of the Wildflowers paper around the top of the little legal pad for the inside of the case.
The case is a Stampin' UP! clear standard stamp case, and comes in a pack of 4 for only $6.00! I love these for so many organizing and storage purposes. Find them in my online store here!
When adhering the notepad into the clear case, and also when applying the strip of Designer Paper over the top of the notepad, I highly recommend using Tear & Tape.. it works perfectly for a strong hold!
I just had to add some extra flowers to the project, so I used more of the patterns in the Sale a Bration Wildflowers paper pack and my new Blossom Bunch Punch! It's a new item on pg 22 of the 2016 Occasions catalog.
I used so many different adhesives on this project!!!
- Fast Fuse: for flower Designer Series Paper layer to cardstock
- Tombo Multipurpose Glue: for numbers to banner piece
- Glue Dots: for layering flowers together
- Tear & Tape: for adhering the notepad into the case and for the scrap to the top of the notepad
Whew! I love keeping all these adhesives on hand!!

Need a Stampin' Up! catalog?
Great advice.I make notes everyday on what I need to get at the store but my paper always gets crumpled up or I see a friend and need their phone number. AWESOME way to keep my paper handy in the car. I didn’t know those notebooks would fit in the case. Thanks for the idea Patty,,,, Gotta get me some cases now….. If you have any other ideas for the cases please let us know. I do store one of my paper pumpkins in a bigger case for when I go away and it gives me something to work on in the evening while I’m away… More Ideas????? HAPPY NEW YEAR TO THE BENNETT FAMILY.
What a great idea! Love it!

Love the idea is going to the top of my “must make!” list
Love this idea
Very nice! Want to make some of these for an upcoming craft fair. Thanks for the idea!
Can you post what size the paper is for the case and what size the legal pad is? Thanks.
Thank you so very much everyone!! I”m so glad you enjoyed the idea!! The note pads were cut down to about 5″x7″ by Fed Ex/Kinkos (or Staples can do it) to fit in the clear case. The Paper is about 7″ x 10-1/2″ or so.. you can open your case and measure the opening under the plastic to be sure what will fit. Enjoy making them.. they are so fun!
Hi Patty! I love this project. I am just a little unsure, do you adhere the paper for the front to wrap around the back of the case? And, do you ahere it to the inside?
