ABOVE: I die cut the large Rose Garden thinlit die with both Cherry Cobbler and Wild Wasabi cardtock, then cut the leaves and the flower apart on both pieces, and layered them back together onto the card.

MAKE IT:

  •  fold a 4-1/4" x 8-1/2" Cherry Cobbler piece of cardstock in 1/2 to make this card
  •  cut the Perfectly Artistic paper at 4" x 5-1/4" to layer on top
  •  adhere the flower onto the Perfectly Artistic paper with Tombo Multi adhesive glue (see more in THIS VIDEO for adhering the diecut to your card).

ABOVE:  this card features the smaller rose in the Rose Garden thinlit die package.  I die cut it out of Crushed Curry cardstock and before I adhered it to the Perfectly Artistic paper, I sponged lightly in a circular motion with a Sponge Dauber on the Perfectly Artistic paper with Calypso Coral ink, just to give a little dimension to the flower image.

MAKE IT:

  •  fold a 4-1/4" x 8-1/2" Calypso Coral piece of cardstock in 1/2 to make this card
  •  cut a piece of 4"x5-1/4" Crushed Curry to layer on top
  •  cut the Perfectly Artistic paper at 4" x 5-1/4" to layer on top of that.  Before adding it to the folded card, use the beautiful vine die cut piece from the Botanical Builder framelit set on the edge!! Isn't it pretty!?
  • adhere the flower and leaf onto the Perfectly Artistic paper with Tombo Multi adhesive glue (see more in THIS VIDEO for adhering the diecut to your card).
  • draw a Calypso Coral line around 3 edges of the paper to just define the card a bit, using a Stampin' Write marker and a straight edge.

The greetings on both cards were stamped in Memento Black ink, with the Rose Wonder stamp set and the Enjoy the Little Things stamp set.

If you enjoyed these cards, I hope you will make one! If you need any of the supplies, they are available in my online store, by clicking on any of the images below.

Remember, the Perfectly Artistic Paper is a FREE item, ONLY available through Feb. 15 when you place a $50 or more order in my online store.
