I colored these images with my copic markers MONTHS ago and had them sitting on my stamping table all this time, so I decided to die cut them with the new Stampin' UP! Layering Ovals and Layering Circle framelits, then I mounted them to Whisper White Note Cards.   I truly love how they came out!!

I really Punched Up the color on this note card by sponging the doily in Melon Mambo ink and a sponge dauber, and adding Cucumber Crush striped designer paper and striped ribbon!

Crafting tip: make custom colored doilies by sponging ink onto them with a Stampin' UP! Sponge Dauber!

Tip: create custom  colored doilies by gently adding color with a sponge dauber and Stampin' UP! Classic ink!

For the note card above, I went with a little bit softer look but still pops of color with my Copic marker coloring.  The background was created with the Festive Embossing folder (pg 11 in the annual Stampin' UP! catalog, #141471).  I used the same Cucumber Crush striped ribbon on this card as the other card in this post.  I like that ribbon a LOT!

  1. Those little notecards are gorgeous Patty! Love how you colored in the flowers. That set is perfect for coloring, just enough detail but not too much that you have to go crazy 🙂

  2. So pretty! At first I thought you had used a fabric doily in the sponged sample. It reminds me of the cotton doilies my great aunt would embellish with hand crocheted lace around the outer edge. TFS!
