Copper Christmas Card and Enamel Dots

Copper is such a hot metallic accent for the fall and holidays, so I wanted to incorporate it into my Star of Light Christmas card idea for you today!

I die cut Island Indigo and Copper foil stars for this beautiful card, and layered them over the stamped "stardust swoosh" background stamp in a random pattern, and I love how it looks!

I stamped the little stardust swoosh stamp in Marina Mist right onto the embossed paper from the Fancy Frost package.  Isn't it the perfect marriage?? I love it! The stars in the background with the Star of Light set and dies!

I used all these die cut pieces in my Star of Light Christmas card.. it seems easiest to use glue dots to attach each layer.

This pre-embossed Fancy Frost paper is GORGEOUS!!!  look at all the gorgeous patterns you get in the 12×12 package!

See it on pg 37 in the 2016 Holiday catalog or HERE in my online store.

I cut it at 4" x 5-1/4" and layered it onto a top fold standard size 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Island Indigo card.

2 Great Crafting Tips!

 1.  Grab your Copper Sharpie marker and color the gold or silver enamel shapes (ON SALE THIS WEEK!) to create really neat matching copper accents!

2.  When you have little punch out or die cut pieces, keep them handy by putting them right onto the dots on a mini glue dot roll.  They'll be ready to use and won't go flying off your crafting table!
