My Christmas card idea for you today has lots of fun products and tips.. I hope you find this blog post helpful in either creating this card or other projects using these Stampin' Up! products. This cute card features the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and coordinating Cookie Cutter Builder punch, as well as the Candy Cane Lane paper, Presents & Pinecones paper, the Jolly Hat Builder punch and as mentioned above, the Cable Knit embossing folder.
5 Tips!
I have 5 tips for you when creating this card.. read on for these great crafting tips!
- use pearls (colored with a black Sharpie) for eyeballs and hearts for buttons on the Gingerbread men
- use the wide end of the multipurpose glue for adhering embossed paper to your project
- punch a santa cap out of the Warmth & Cheer paper pack – looks like a knit cap!
- use the Best Badge punch to create a scalloped border
- don't stamp your gingerbread men too close together if you are punching them with the Cookie Cutter Builder punch! :) ask me how I learned that…
I love my Tombow Mulitpurpose glue (see it here) and I love the wide tip for quick applications of glue – especially helpful when gluing an embossed piece of cardstock to another piece of cardstock!
I stamped 2 pieces of the santa cap from the Jolly Friends stamp set in Real Red ink on Whisper White paper, and punched them out, and then just punched the cap portion using the Warmth & Cheer paper and Jolly Hat Builder punch – so cute.. looks like a knit cap!! 🙂

And best tip of the day…. don't stamp your Gingerbread men too close together…
Use a Circle punch or the Layering Circle framelits to cut out a large circle from the Presents & Pinecones paper pack, and it makes the perfect background for the Gingerbread man!
