This fun fold card design was simple and fun to make.. and it was a new one for me.. I’m calling it the Double Decker Z Fold card because I really don’t know what it’s called or if it has a name or not!? If you missed the live video yesterday, please feel free to watch the replay at the bottom of this blog post for the instructions.
My fun fold cards today all feature the Stampin’ UP! Adoring Hearts Bundle, which includes the stamp set, hybrid embossing folder and dies. I’ve also featured the Sale-a-Bration Most Adored designer paper which is great for Valentine’s day cards or, as you can see below, I also created a Mother’s Day card with the same basic supplies!
As I showed you on the video yesterday, I also used the card front panel (below) after die cutting the hearts!! Nothing went to waste.
Take a look at the great patterns in the Most Adored Sale-a-Bration designer series paper pack!! They are fabulous!! It’s a FREE GIFT with your $50 online order during Sale-a-Bration 2024, while supplies last.
Dimensions for Double Decker Z Fold Card:
My idea for the card below was to create “postage stamps” with the Perennial Postage dies and the die cut hearts. Love you comes from the Bee my Valentine stamp set. All of these supplies are available in my online Stampin’ Up! store – please click any of the product photos at the bottom of this post to shop online 24/7.
Thank you for your orders!! I appreciate you!
If you already have your Valentines done, why not use these supplies to make a Mother’s Day card? Or, even switch it up to use ANY designer paper for any occasion and make a birthday, thinking of you, get well, graduation, wedding, or just because card!
The Happy Mother’s Day greeting is found in the free Sale-a-Bration Heartfelt Hellos set.
And if you are wondering where I got the square postage die cut… I altered the rectangular one… you can watch me do this in the video posted below!
You are Most Loved (used on the inside) is found in the Adoring hearts bundle / stamp set.
In this top view of the card you can see why I call it a Double Decker Z Fold Card.
I used the great bold You Are Loved sentiment from the Softly Said stamp set, part of a current Online Exclusive offering.
