We enjoyed an amazing trip in October, cruising the Caribbean on the Liberty of the Seas with about 30 friends and fellow crafters!! Jenn Gulch organized this amazing week-long crafting cruise and I am SO glad we went!!! We enjoyed it so much we are already booked for the 2017 trip!! 🙂
Above: Cindee, Jenn and I in the crafting room on the ship!! Jenn prepared tons of amazing projects for us to create!! Look at our cute bags below with all of our supplies.. it was so amazing and so much fun!!!
Over the course of the week, we could use the crafting room anytime we wanted to, but Cindee and I went in there on the "sea days" (days we were not in port). I think we crafted about a total of 18 hours!!! It was heavenly!!!
Above: all of the amazing Stampin' UP! products in our bag, from Jenn!
Below: the projects we created over the course of the week: 40 cards, 2 scrapbook albums, 1 Christmas banner and a 12×12 framed Christmas collage!!!
I will be sharing all the projects with you over the coming weeks, but thought you'd enjoy the overview of the week first!!
I cannot even tell you how much fun it was to have all of the projects prepped and ready. For about 25 years I have been the one prepping the project packets for events, so this was just a dream vacation with my family and friends AND crafting!!!
Many of the crafters brought family members or friends. Below was most of our group.. I think a few are missing.
We departed from the port in Galveston, TX, a port we have never cruised out of before. So that was fun to see something new!! We had 2 "sea days" before arriving in Roatan, Honduras, so we crafted both of those days, then we had 3 ports in a row.. Roatan, Belize and Cozumel. The last day, coming back was another sea day to craft and pack (packing, boo.. hate that part because it means you are going home).
Below: our home away from home for the week: the Liberty of the Seas. The 2017 crafting cruise is on the same ship.
Our cabin..
There were several of us from the Luv 2 Stamp group in a row on the ship, so we opened our balcony dividers and had one HUGE balcony 🙂
I was so glad my family wanted to come with me.. it was a great week and much needed R&R for all of us!
If you'd like to join us in 2017, we are all booked on the same ship in September!!
