Affectionately Yours Copper Foil Dragonfly cards

I'm excited to share this beautiful thank you card idea with you today! The copper foil floral pattern paper in the Stampin' UP! Affectionately Yours paper pack is just gorgeous on this card!! I die cut the Detailed Dragonfly thinlit with Copper Foil paper using my Big Shot and added them to the card to bring out the beautiful richness of the copper in these thank you cards!

These are 4-1/4" square Night of Navy cardstock top-fold cards, and the copper designer paper is 4×4. I added a strip of Navy flower design paper and scalloped the edge (with the Best Badge punch – shown below), then added lace trim and the greeting.

I also made another design with the Affectionately Yours paper mounted on Mint Macaron cardstock (see THIS post).

TIP: use the Foam Adhesive strips and cut about a 1/2" length to place behind the dragonfly body, then add to the card. Quick and easy!

The greeting is stamped in Night of Navy ink on a very vanilla die cut from the Rose Garden Thinlit die package. The greeting is found in the Flourishing Phrased stamp set.
