I have a fun video for you today!! I am sharing my story about designing the Ribbon of Courage stamp set – one of the perks for reaching $1,000,000 in personal sales with Stampin’ Up! I hope you will have a moment to watch the video in this post to hear about the set, how the design came about, and to see several projects I created with this set!
This is the “long version” of my 8 minute presentation at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event in San Diego, April 2017.
Watch the video in this blog post for details to create each of these 4 note cards!
In the video you will see several new SNEAK PEEKS of new products as well as 4 of the 5 new In Colors!
Watch the video below!

I shared 3 different fold out projects for LOVE and HOPE in the video. The dimensions for the cardstock and designer paper are listed below. I used 4 envelopes stuck to each other as shown below, but you could adapt the design and cut and score cardstock, too.

Wow Patty – thank you so much for sharing the story behind the stamp set! I love hearing how it came together, and I’m super excited to buy it when it becomes available. The sentiments and the font styles in the set are just beautiful, and I am excited that there are also coordinating framelits as well. Your projects were absolutely gorgeous, and come together pretty quickly even though they have so much detail in them. Thank you for all the inspiration, and congratulations again on your amazing milestone!!
Patty, What a beautiful memory for your mother and grandmother. I’m sitting here with tears in my eyes! Thank you so much for sharing your story. I can’t wait to get this set! You did an awesome job of creating this! I’m sure it will be a favorite of mine forever! Again, my thanks!
Wow, Patty, this is an amazing story! I wish I could have seen you at Onstage, but this is the next best thing. Thank you for taking the time to share it with all of your adoring fans!
Your stamp set is just beautiful! I immediately saw so many possibilities apart from awareness and cancer. But, like you, my family has been touched by serious illness and cancer. We’re one of the fortunate ones though because my mother is a breast cancer survivor. I did, however, lose my dear aunt to colon cancer many years ago. She was much too young, and her daughter just can’t seem to get over it. Maybe I can create a special card to commemorate her mom and highlight this dreadful form of cancer. Any of your creative samples would be perfect!
Thank you for sharing all of the tips and tricks for recreating your cards. I loved the idea for using the Window Box die and the Scalloped Circle framelit together. Gluing the four envelopes together to create a folding card is also very clever.
You are an amazing person, crafter, and professional! Thank you for using your achievements to bring attention to a horrible disease that has robbed so many people of their loved ones. Your mother would be so proud of you! I think she knows, don’t you?!
This is a fabulous set!! So glad you shared the story behind it and the samples you made are all beautiful. I love the four envelope idea! Gotta try that out. Congratulations – you must be very proud of your accomplishments. I really must get that set June 1!!!
Hi Patty,
I loved your presentation today, with the information about how your beautiful stamp set
came about. A beautiful lady with a beautiful stamp set. Sometimes there are no words to
describe an event, and for me this is one of those times. I have been touched by cancer deaths
and suicide more than I wish I had been touched, but perhaps it is just part of life in order to learn and to teach by the events we experience. I am so touched by your stamp set. It is just wonderful.
So proud of you, Patty. As I have said before, I know your mom and grandmother are smiling down upon you. Thanks again for sharing.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Best wishes,
Karren
Patty
