Eastern Palace Medallion Sticker Card Ideas

Thank you so much to everyone who left such a kind comment about my Eastern Palace Video Tutorial (in this post) a few days ago!  I'm thrilled that you love all the ideas as much as I do!  I created these medallion cards with the gold foil stickers from the bundle as well as the Eastern Medallion thinlits and the matching Eastern Palace stamp set.  You probably saw them in my video tutorial, but I wanted to share some close up photos of the 3 cards I talked about in that video.

Above: I  placed the large gold foil sticker on my Very Vanilla carstock and then die cut the 2 Eastern Medallion dies in the center.  I placed Lemon Lime Twist and Dapper Denim cardstock behind the opening for a fun contrast.   The Very Vanilla square is on some of the lovely Eastern Palace Specialty designer paper, on a folded Dapper Denim card!

Above: I  placed the large gold foil sticker on my Very Vanilla carstock and then die cut the 2 Eastern Medallion dies in the center.  I didn't realize that the large medallion sticker had a clear center sticker area, and so the dies didn't really cut through that part (see my story about that in the video here).  But, I loved how it turned out anyway!! The Very Vanilla square is on some of the lovely Eastern Palace Specialty designer paper, on a folded Dapper Denim card!

Each card also features the 1/4" Natural gold trim ribbon, Dapper Denim cardstock and Very Vanilla cardstock.

  1. Hi Patty! I also like how the second card turned out, but I’m wondering if the die wold have cut through if you use the precision base plate? Or maybe you did! Just a thought. I’m so looking forward to ordering this bundle!

  2. Hi Patty! I would just love detailed instructions on the sunflower card you showed in your video. I’m having a problem with the inner chocolate chip circle and sticker. Would love to do this for my monthly card class. Thanks so much for sharing all your awesome projects!!
