I'm Wild About You! 🙂 But seriously, how cute is this little lion!? Oh my gosh! I think this Gate Fold card featuring the "A Little Wild" Stampin' UP! stamp set could be perfect for almost anyone! Who can you think of that you might make this card for?
The Lion stamped and die cut and layered onto a Very Vanilla Stitched Shape Oval, and then onto a Crushed Curry die cut oval and then onto a Tangerine Tango Scalloped oval die cut.. lots of fun layers to pull the colors in! (check out all the products at the bottom of this post).
The lion was die cut with the Little Loves framelits (part of the "A Little Wild" bundle), so no fussy cutting required! Find this bundle on page 108 in the 2017 Stampin' UP! catalog, or here in my online Stampin' UP! store for WOOD MOUNT and here for CLEAR MOUNT.

The darling patterned paper is found in the "Whole Lot of Lovely" designer series paper pack. I thought it kind of looked like the lion was in the wild in the tall grasses 🙂
I colored the stamped lion with watercolor pencils, markers and an aquapainter. I started just with watercolor pencils and water but it needed a little more pop of color, so added some color with markers. Leaving some areas dark and some light help make him seem a little more dimensional and not so flat.
I die cut 2 leaf pieces with Pear Pizzazz cardstock and the Eclectic Layers framelits and tucked them behind the oval.
