Ready for more flower card ideas!? You know I love to stamp and create cards with Stampin' Up! flower images!! :) I cannot take credit for the design of these 2 amazing "Grown with Love bundle" cards, but I did stamp them!! My friend Cindee designed these cards and we make them when I stamped at her house recently!
We created 2 cards with the Grown with Love bundle, one using the watering can image, and one using the flower pot stamp. Both are filled with stamped flowers!! We are saving the little red wagon for next time.
You'll find this fabulous Grown with Love bundle on page 22 of your current 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! catalog, or, scroll to the bottom of this post to click on any product photo to go to the online store.
Above, Watering Can Card: We stamped the watering can in Smoky Slate ink on Whisper White cardstock, and stamped the flower images using our Stampin' Write markers, then we die cut them both with the matching Garden Grown framelit die set. Hey, it's also a BUNDLE!! Save 10% when you buy the stamp set and framelits together!
Using Stampin' Write markers it the best way to get all those amazing colors on one stamp. We also stamped 3 of the flowers again on a scrap and die cut those to add to the image with the new mini Stampin' Dimensionals!! LOVE those!!!
Stampin' Write Marker Colors used: Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Powder Pink and Tranquil Tide (all 5 of the new 2017-2019 In Colors).
Our watering can is also embellished with rhinestone jewels and some Fresh Fig ribbon!! So striking!! Everything was mounted onto a "Lots of Labels" framelit die (cut with Whisper White cardstock), then onto a strip of Lemon Lime Twist designer paper from the Fresh Florals paper stack and onto a 4"x5-1/4" top fold card.
We flicked the Fresh Fig marker onto the Lots of Labels die cut piece.. I love how it gives some added interest and almost looks a bit like baby's breath in the bouquet!
Below, Pocket Card: Our 2nd card featuring the Grown with Love bundle is a pull-up pocket card. Cindee designed a simple Cajun Craze cardstock pocket featuring the front flap embossed with the Layered Leaves embossing folder, and then a piece of Whisper White cardstock that slips in the pocket. The insert was also stamped with a flower and leaves from the Grown with Love stamp set, and decorated at the top with a Tab Punch and the Tabs for Everything stamp set. This Tabs for Everything set and punch is ALSO a bundle available at 10% savings! See page 43 in your current 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! catalog.
We stamped the flowers/leaves onto White Glossy Cardstock for a little crisper look than just Whisper White, then die cut the whole image out. Like the watering can card above, we stamped and die cut extra flowers to add to the bouquet.
The pot was stamped with Cajun Craze ink onto Whisper White cardstock.. probably should have tried out the glossy paper for that too!
Cindee is the queen of adding just the right touch to each card.. I would not have thought to add linen thread to the pot, but doesn't that look too cute!? We also added glitter enamel dots to each flower center.
As I mentioned above.. the front of this pocket card is embossed with the Layered Leaves embossing folder… a little hard to see in the photos, but it adds so much to this card!!
The pot and flowers were mounted onto a Stitched Shape framelit circle die cut with Peekaboo Peach cardstock, and then we added Peekaboo Peach Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon.. just the perfect touch of color!
