I'm just so thrilled with the new Big Shot Embossing Mats (Stampin' UP! catalog pg 221 #146327), and enjoying the fact that I can double my fun with my thinlits and framelits!!! It's it amazing to be able to emboss AND die cut with your thinlits & framelits??
Today we are embossing with the Embossing Mats, our Big Shot and the Springtime Impressions butterfly thinlit! (Springtime Impressions thinlit pg 219, #146326)
I used the new Balmy Blue cardstock cut to about 3" x 4" and embossed the butterfly from the Springtime Impressions thinlits with the Embossing Mats, then used the Detailed Trio corner punch to round and decorate 2 opposite corners. I sponged Balmy Blue ink onto the raised portion of the butterfly with a sponge dauber.
The card base is a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Thick Whisper White card, and I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of printed Garden Impressions paper to that before adding the butterfly and fussy cut flowers.

Below: to decorate the card, I cut several flowers out of the 6×6 Garden Impressions paper stack, and used them on the card.
I also added some Wink of Stella to the butterfly, although it's probably hard to see in the photo, but it does lend a pretty shimmer to the card!
