Piece of Cake Birthday Cards

Need a super colorful and fun birthday card idea? Use the Piece of Cake bundle from Stampin’ UP! (stamp set and punch), and pair it up with some How Sweet It Is designer paper and coordinating Stampin’ Blends markers! I created these Note Cards with the hope of making the recipients smile!

Oh these colors are just WAY too fun!! I stamped the cakes and stands with Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and colored with my Stampin’ Blends markers. I used color inspiration from the How Sweet It Is designer paper pack, pg 15 in the 2019 Occasions catalog, #148568 online.

I stamped the Happy Birthday greeting in Granny Apple Green on Whisper White cardstock and punched it out with the Classic Label punch, then I spaced the cake and the cake stand about 1/4″ apart and covered the gap with the greeting. That way the cake looks even taller!

Each cake is layered onto a stitched shape oval die cut (Whisper White) and then onto a Scalloped Oval die cut in Granny Apple Green cardstock.
