I created about 50 of these Needlepoint Elements note cards for my recent Stampin’ UP! demonstrator event (see THIS post) and customer thank you cards. They are super easy to make but I think they pack quite a “wow”, don’t you agree? Thanks to “Stampin’ Savvy” on Pinterest for this idea!
This framelit just die cuts all the little holes.. so I’m not sure if it’s technically called die cutting, or embossing, or ?? But whatever you want to call it, I think this is one of my all time favorite framelit dies!! (#148541 on pg 39 in your 2019 Occasions catalog).
Needlepoint Elements framelit dies found on page 39 in the 2019 Occasions catalog, or HERE in my online store!
Design Element: Rounded Corners
I saw this simple, yet amazing idea originally on Pinterest, posted by Stampin’ Savvy, and I added the greeting and Frosted Flower embellishment. I loved the rounded corner, the strip of Gingham paper peeking out the side, and the floral design of this framelit!
If you don’t have a corner rounder, you can use the Stampin’ UP! Detailed Trio Punch #146320, or, the corner rounder that comes on the Envelope Punch Board #133774.
I used the thick Whisper White Note Cards (#131527) from Stampin’ UP! and cut off about 1/2″ from the front of the card, then added a 1″ wide strip of Gingham Gala Grapefruit Grove paper to the inside, then rounded the corners of the back flap! Then I embossed (or die cut!??) 🙂 the Needlepoint Elements image in the front of the card, stamped Thank You from the Humming Along stamp set, #148758, with Calypso Coral ink, and added the layered Frosted Flower & Happiness Blooms enamel embellishments! (see this post for more info on layering the embellishments).
Of course you could make these in ANY color… here are the other colors in the Gingham Gala paper stack:
