Whether you need an Easter card or a Spring card or a Baby Card, the Fable Friends stamp set has you covered! I created a Fable Friends Easter Card and a Spring Card using the cute bunny image I call Peter Rabbit 🙂
I stamped the bunny image from Fable Friends for the Spring Card onto a die cut label from the Stitched Labels framelit package #146828 with Memento black ink, then colored it with my Stampin’ Blends markers. The cute polka dot paper background is from the Tropical Escape 6×6 paper stack. Did you see that I also stamped it onto the same polkadot paper, and fussy cut out the little jacket to add back on to the bunny image!?
My Happy Spring card is finished off with a layer of Flirty Flamingo cardstock under the polkadot paper, and adhered onto a Whisper White Note Card. I also stamped the Happy Spring greeting in Flirty Flamingo onto a die cut label from the Lasting Lily Framelits. I finished off the card with a bow using the Petal Pink & Silver Baker’s Twine #146288.
I stamped a part of the bunny image onto the polka dot paper in the Tropical Escape 6×6 paper stack, then added some shading with the Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends marker, then fussy cut it out with my Paper Snips.
My “Peter Rabbit” Easter card would be so cute in an Easter Basket for a little boy or girl! I stamped the bunny onto Whisper White cardstock, colored him with my Stampin’ Blends markers, then fussy cut him with my Paper Snips and added him with Stampin’ Dimensionals onto a Stitched Shape circle framelit.
Bitty Blooms Flowers & Leaves
I WAS going to keep this a “clean and simple” Easter card… but… alas… I decided to gussy it up with punched flowers and some Balmy Blue Gingham Gala paper 🙂
TIP: use a pencil eraser, dip it into an ink pad, stamp onto cardstock or printed designer paper, THEN punch out with the little Bitty Blooms flower punches #148532. I added them to my Easter card with Mini Glue Dots.
I pulled out a scrap of Mint Macaron cardstock to punch out the little leaves for my bitty blooms flowers, and noticed that there was a little bit of left over Buffalo Check stamped image on the edge of the cardstock.. so… Happy Accident.. I just used that to my advantage and punched the little leaves out of it!! 🙂
I stamped both of the bunny images with Memento Black ink and colored them with my Stampin’ Blends markers. All of the markers used are shown at the bottom of this post with the shopping links. Just click on any product photo to go to that item in my online Stampin’ UP! store to make your purchase.
Find the Fable Friends stamp set on page 30 in the 2019 Occasions Stampin’ UP! catalog, or HERE online.
I stamped Easter Greetings in Balmy Blue ink to match the Gingham Gala patterned paper. The tag is from the Detailed Birthday Edgelit dies, and is finished off with a little Pool Party / Silver Baker’s Twine.
