I’m sure you have seen the retiring Stampin’ Up! list (info here). You may or may not have noticed that my Ribbon of Courage stamp set is retiring!
I was so honored to be the design inspiration for this set when I reached $1 million in personal sales with Stampin’ Up! in 2015. But, sadly, Ribbon of Courage and several other $1 million achiever sets are on the retiring list this year.
Here are a few of my favorite Ribbon of Courage samples and my video from a couple years ago explaining that this set was designed in honor of my mom. 🙂

Since I am fairly new to your blog, I had no idea that you were the inspiration behind this beautiful stamp set! As a breast cancer survivor (and just recently learning that it’s back again) the sentiments in this set have deep meaning to me. Thank you for helping create something so lovely! Your projects are wonderful! 🙂
Jennifer,
I’m so sorry to hear about your cancer…… I will keep you in my prayers……I have been on Patty’s blog for a very long time and she makes very beautiful cards,,,,,,I hate to see this set go out….. HUGS to you.
I am so sorry to hear that news.. I will be praying for your treatment and recovery, Jennifer!!!!! Thank you for your kind words!! On page 114 in the catalog, you can read the blurb they published about the set 🙂
Good morning Patty,
I LOVE your Ribbon Of Courage set and hate to see it retire…. I have never seen a set like yours and I love the sentiments…. I’m actually using it right now for 3 friends with cancer….I have used your set a lot and will continue to use it. I was hoping it was staying in the book because there’s not many cancer sets anywhere….The sentiments can actually be used on many other cards besides cancer…..Have a great day Patty
I’m so sorry to hear about your 3 friends.. I pray that the cards you create with Ribbon of Courage are a comfort to them!!
This makes me very upset. Your Ribbon of Courage set was “the” set for any cause out there as most have ribbons now. Your set is one that will continue in my collection for years. Thank you for your “support”!
I look forward to seeing what new stamp set is designed when you reach that 2 million dollar mark!
Thanks for your kind comment Jason!!! Unfortunately, they don’t let us do another set at $2million. 🙁
Sad to hear that it is being retired – so lovely and a creation to be proud of! I have both the stamp set and the framelits and will continue to use them to make cards for my friends at the local Gilda’s House. :<)
Thank you.. it makes me quite sad, too, but of course I will use it forever!!
I’m not sure what I am going to do without the “Love and Hugs to You” saying! I’ve used it sooooooooooooo much! Thank you, Patty!!
I love that sentiment in the set, too!!
When I saw this set was retiring, I thought of you and the love with which you created it and I’m sorry it won’t be available now. I’ve used it a lot and even though retiring, I’ll continue to use it.
Thank you!! I will continue to use it as well!!!
This set is one of my favorites! I even printed off a list from the internet of all the colors of ribbons for each illness, I’ve made orange MS cards every year for a cousin, and purple epilepsy, and others. I am so glad I got the stamp set and framelits when it was first introduced. *Hugs*
Thank you for using it to comfort and encourage others and thanks for the hug!!
Hi Patty – I, too, am sorry to see the Ribbon of Courage stamp set retire. I wanted to let you know how lovely this set is. I have it and will continue to use it. I am sure it has been a source of encouragement to many. Thank you for designing it; it is one of the most meaningful and beautiful sets we have had.
Thank you so much for your very kind words, Linda!!!
Patty, Thanks for bringing us this much needed stamp set. It will always be in my stamping cabinet whenever I need it to tell someone I care and, hopefully, encourage them to keep up the fight!
Thank you for using it to encourage and comfort others!! 🙂
Patty! I am so glad I ordered my stamp set and framelits when they first came out! Thanks so much for designing this set!
So glad you have been enjoying it, Melinda!
I hate to see this set retire. I think it was one of the best sets we’ve had and it could last a lifetime.
Thank you so much.. I’m so glad you have been enjoying it!
It really bothers me that this beautiful set is retiring. I have used it so many times for friends, church members, family and others that are dealing with cancer and need a little love in their world. I feel that it is a stamp set that encourages and lets the receiver of the card know that the card sender really cares and empathizes with them. This is one stamp set that I will never get rid of. It is well loved.
I am so glad you have been using it, and to comfort others.. that was my hope!!
I’m sorry to see it retire. Every year we do a Breast Cancer card in October. It was perfect for that and so many other disease and disorders
Can I still purchase the stamping up ribbon of courage
Hi Donna, I’m sorry but it has officially retired. I do have a stash of them though and would be happy to sell you one if you are in the US.
