I was speechless when I received this AMAZING Detailed Noble Peacock card in the mail!!  One of the amazing Stampin’ Up! demonstrators on my team made it and mailed it to me. Nicole Tugrul is the amazing artist who created this card!

Nicole used a Bird Ballad Laser Cut card as a stencil to sponge color onto a Whisper White cardstock panel.  I thought it made the most GORGEOUS background!!!  Find the Detailed Peacock dies on page 25 and pg 192, or #149582 online.  Find the Bird Ballad laser cut cards on page 168 or #149595 online.

Nicole’s Directions:

“The background of the card is sponged with Coastal Cabana. I cut one of the cards from the Bird Ballad Cards and Tin so I could use it as a stencil. The pink paper behind the peacock is from Bird Ballad DSP cut with a Stitched Nested label die. I cut 2 peacocks out, one in whisper white and one in a thick watercolor paper to glue to the back. This gave the peacock more stability. I sponged the peacock with Coastal Cabana being lighter at the top and a little darker in the center. The bottom was sponged with Pretty Peacock ink. Behind the nested label die is a Coastal Cabana feather from the peacock dies. I added small bits of dimensionals to add the peacock to the card stock. Then I did several flowers from Free as a Bird. Cut them out and colored with Stampin’ Blends markers. Flirty Flamingo light marker with a bit of light Lovely Lipstick in the center of the flowers. I used a stylus to push and roll around the center to give the flower a little dimension. Place the flowers on a Stampin pierce mat when you do that because it gives a little and lets you roll the flowers. I added a bit of tombow glue to the bottoms of the flowers and added them to the card. I brushed the peacock and flowers with clear Wink of Stella. Lastly, I added a few of the Woven Threads sequins with a bit of tombow glue.”
