See a Silhouette background paper cards

When I saw all of the gorgeous patterns in the See a Silhouette Stampin’ Up! designer paper pack, I was so eager to create a card with this new background paper!! I combined it with the Friendly Silhouettes dies, cut out of Black Foil Paper! Super Simple, yet striking!! I actually made 3 different cards!!

You will find the See a Silhouette paper on pages 134 and 166 of your Annual catalog, or HERE #149443 online. The Friendly Silhouettes dies are on pages 124 and 193, or #149546 in my Stampin’ Up! online store. I really thought they looked amazing die cut with the Black Foil Paper!

Stamparatus:

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the swinging girl image from the Silhouette Scenes stamp set. Since it is a bold image (solid image stamp) it’s best to use the Stamparatus in case you need to stamp the image twice to get it as bold as you wish. Find this set on page 134 or #149223 online. Above: I kept this card super simple with a celebrate you sentiment found in the Bloom and Grow stamp set. It’s simply stamped right on the background paper with the Black Foil die cut flowers applied on top. The Fine Tip Glue Pen is one of your best bets for adhering the intricate dies to the project. I matted all cards onto a Basic Black cardstock mat. The cards above are on Mango Melody card bases.

Below: I added blue rhinestones from the Noble Peacock rhinestone pack to the card below and a birthday greeting from the Parcels & Petals stamp set on a die cut shape from the Smooth Sailing die set. It is matted on a Pear Pizzazz card base.
