Thank you for your kind words on my previous Beauty & Joy cards!!! Today I am sharing an idea for a Christmas Topiary card using the Beauty & Joy set, featuring some Garden Lane designer paper in the background and a Christmas greeting stamped on a Trio of Tags die cut.
I wanted the holly on this topiary to really stand out so I used several Red Rhinestones to dress it up!!!
When I took this Beauty & Joy topiary set out to play with it last month, I stamped the pot and basket in several colors. I wasn’t sure what I was going to make and wanted to get a feel for several different card ideas and color combos.
I stamped the pot for this card in Terracotta Tile ink because I think this pot (urn ?) looks like it could be made from Terracotta. The holly leaves are stamped in Mossy Meadow ink, and the trunk in Soft Suede ink. It’s stamped onto a rectangle stitched die cut, layered onto Real Red cardstock, then onto a 4″ x 5-1/4″ pieces of Garden Lane designer paper and a top fold Mossy Meadow card base.
Finishing touches: Red Rhinestones, Flower Faceted Gems (at the top of the topiary), 3/8″ real red cotton ribbon, and a Joyful Christmas greeting from the Beauty & Joy set stamped in Real Red ink on a die cut tag from the Trio of Tags die set #150667.

Hi Patty,
Don’t know if you received my last request but what is the tool you used to put the rhinestones on the tree?
Thank you,
Joan Schoppe
Sorry I did not receive your inquiry, you can use the take your pick tool or any paper piercing tool.
Such an elegant card. Those rinestones add a classy touch.
