How about a 2 for 1 Laser-cut card idea!? I used my Stampin’ Up! paper snips and snipped out the center of one Bird Ballad Laser-cut card, to form an opening, and then used the center on a 2nd card!!
I embossed the Magnolia 3D embossing folder on a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock, and glued it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the back of the laser-cut card front. The greeting is from the Timeless Tulips set stamped with Rococo Rose ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and die cut with the Trio of Tags dies. The leaves are found in the Wild Rose stamp set and colored with Stampin’ Blends markers then die cut with the matching dies in the bundle. A small piece of Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace trim adds just the right vintage touch and texture to this card.
I used the snipped out laser-cut piece on a 2nd card. It is a 4-1/4″ square Thick Very Vanilla cardbase with a 4×4 piece of Perennial Essence designer paper. I glued the laser-cut piece onto the designer paper, then snipped out some flowers from another piece of Perennial Essence DSP to add on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Very Vanilla Lace trim was used on this card as well.
As you are reading this, I will be wrapping up my time at Amy’s Vintage Valentine Retreat this weekend, and heading home. These are 2 of the cards I will include in my short presentation this weekend.
The beautiful envelopes that come with the Bird Ballad Laser-cut cards are so gorgeous.. see the scalloped edge (above)? So pretty!!
