A few years ago, I switched from storing my Stampin’ UP! ink pads, markers and cardstock from the Stampin’ Up! color families/collections, to rainbow order. I love having all of my yellows together, greens together, reds together, etc. It makes it easier for ME to create. I know this is subject to preference, and your storage system or rainbow order might be different than mine, which is totally fine!!
Today I’d like to share how I store my 2 sets of Stampin’ Up! ink pads in “rainbow order”. One is in the Stamp-n-Storage wood storage ink pad organizer, and one is in the white plastic Stampin’ Up! storage organizers!

How come your inks and your paper don’t have the same order?
Because my paper is in 2 rows and my inks are in 5 rows.
Patty I Love all of your storage ideas & your cards. I have been following you for years. Thank you for all of your good information over the years! I’m just wondering, why do you store your CS in rainbow order? I’v always stored mine by the color family, so that I remember which color goes to which family. Just wondering if it helps you in some way or what the benefit is? Thanks so much for your time.
Hi Tammie, so glad you enjoy my posts. I explained in the 1st paragraph in the post why I switched and why I like it… hope that helps?
