Wow.. have you seen the new Rainbow Glimmer Paper from Stampin’ Up!? It’s amazing, and can be found on page 153 in your new catalog, or #153056 online!
The colors in this rainbow glimmer paper are amazing: Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green, Magenta Madness, Mango Melody.
I also paired it with Just Jade, a new In Color. You really can’t go wrong with this new paper!
I cut my 12×12 Whisper White cardstock into 4″ squares, then stamped the new Hooray to You birthday balloon stamp on the white square. The colors I used to stamp the balloon: Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Granny Apple Green, Bumblebee and Misty Moonlight. I added a 1″ x 4″ strip of Rainbow Glimmer Paper to the left side of the white square, then layered them all on to 4-1/4″ square cardstock base cards. The cardstock bases are: Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay.
Each card is also embellished with Rainbow Glimmer paper balloons punched from the Balloon Bouquet punch #140609 and three 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots!
Product Note: The Rainbow Glimmer paper cuts and punches easily, and, the glitter stays put!! Anyone who knows me well knows that I don’t like loose glitter… so this glimmer paper is just perfect.. the glimmer all stays put!!
Envelope Note: Every time I post a square card I get asked, “Do you make square envelopes for your square cards?”. Answer: No, I just use the Stampin’ UP! Medium Whisper White envelopes.
These birthday cards also look great just on Thick Whisper White folded cards. Below I stamped the Hooray to You balloon stamp in 4 of the 5 new 2020-2022 In Colors. I did not use Cinnamon Cider.. I didn’t think it would make a very festive looking balloon : )

What size card stock do you start with for this card and do you cut it a certain way to get the most out of it?
Hi Marianne, I start with 8-1/2×11 colored cardstock and cut it to 8-1/2″ square, then cut that in 1/2 and fold each piece. So it yields 2 cards at 4-1/4″ square (per post above) and the white panel is 4″ sq. Per the post above, I prefer to use the 12×12 to cut it into 4″ squares for the white panels. hope that helps?

What is the name of the clear enamel dots (catalog page number also) that you can use your Stampin Write Marker on to color the dot?
