So here is my hope… by Thanksgiving, we’ll be able to get together with friends and family, and maybe not even wear a mask!?!? Wishful thinking? maybe… but I’m ready.. I found this cute wooden pumpkin at Big Lots and thought I’d decorate it and pair it with a little jar of candy to give as a Fall hostess gift this year!
Below: I tied some of the Metallic Mesh Ribbon #153550 and the copper ribbon from the Basket Weave combo #153553 around the stem of the pumpkin. It is just enough fun to make you smile!!
The sunflower punch art tag I created for the candy jar is similar to the tag I created for the card in yesterday’s post (here). But I used a smaller scallop die cut (this one is from the Little Treat Box Dies). I also colored in the stem with Old Olive ink and a Blender Pen, and colored the dots with a Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends marker.
The top of the tag is tied up with some Bumblebee ribbon and Linen Thread. The “for you” scalloped tag is stamped with the Warm Hugs stamp set, and die cut with the same Little Treat Box scalloped circle die.
To create the cute sunflower punch art, just die cut or punch a scalloped circle, sponge the edges, and then cut slits with paper snips. Add a fun center and voila, cute sunflower! See THIS POST for more info and another idea!
