It may be early for Christmas card ideas, or, some of you may already be done. Either way, I wanted to share these easy postage stamp punch Christmas card ideas with you!! They were inspired by a design by Tammy during a recent Christmas in July online class I participated in!
Simply select your favorite red and green Christmas theme patterns from any designer paper pack (I used ‘Tis the Season designer paper), and punch 4 rectangles with the Postage Stamp Punch. Depending on which way you arrange them, you’ll get a totally different look….
Above & Below: As you can see, I made 2 cards with the same basic supplies, and created one vertical and one horizontal. I kept the vertical card (above) simple, with the 4 punched Tis the Season pieces, and added a small greeting and 3 rhinestones.
For the alternate version below, I spiffed it up with 3 die cut bells from the Sounds of the Seasons bells dies, die cut with Gold Foil paper.
Card Supplies & Dimensions:
- Base Card: Just Jade and Cherry Cobbler cardstock: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, folded in 1/2
- Whisper White mat layer: 5″ x 4-1/4″
- Postage Stamp Punch pieces: Tis the Season designer paper
- Bells: Sounds of the Season Dies with Gold Foil Paper
- Rhinestones: Holiday Rhinestones
