I’ve said it before, I’ll repeat it in case you are new to my blog… I LOVE coloring with Stampin’ Blends! 🙂 When I saw this Autumn Greetings stamp set in the Stampin’ UP! 2020 Holiday (August to December) catalog, I knew it was a great one for coloring! My suggestions for best results: Stamp image with Memento Black ink on Thick Whisper White when coloring with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers.
When you use ALL your favorite Stampin’ Blends colors on one card… this happens. 🙂 See ALL the Stampin’ Blends Colors available HERE! I’ve included the colors I used at the bottom of this post for your shopping and crafting convenience.
Autumn Greetings Bundle, priced at the 10% bundle discount, available in my online store #155198. NO you don’t have to fussy cut the floral image 🙂 The bundle comes with a die to do that!
Below: I folded a 4-1/4″ x 11″ piece of Cajun Craze cardstock in half for a top-fold base card. Then I used the “leaf” border die cut in the Autumn Greetings bundle to cut off a bit of the front flap. After I die cut it, I realized WOW… this looks like the leaf pattern in the Greenery Embossing folder set, so, I embossed across the top of the card with the folder in my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine! I used the new Magnetic cutting Plate to help position the die around the stamped floral image.
Between the embossed area and die cut border, I used Cajun Craze ink to stamp a row of pumpkins, found in the stamp set. A piece of 4″ x 5-1/4″ Very Vanilla lines the inside to show off the die cut border, and allow a nice area to write the greeting.

Love your card! You did a beautiful job.
Thank you so much Ernestine!!
Beautiful and rich looking
Thanks, Roxanne!
It is a beautiful card, thanks you for sharing with us. I would like to know how you embossed the card with 2 layers of paper and the embossing folder? Because, as I was thinking you are supposed to pass the embossing folder with the fold first and you should have a single layer of paper? Thanks for answering me.
Hi Diane, Yes, you are correct that we are supposed to send the folded end of the embossing folder through the machine first, and I was so excited about this idea that I totally forgot. So to do it correctly, you could emboss a piece of the cardstock and apply it to the front of the card instead. thanks so much for catching that!!
Hi Patty,
